Maison Champy Côte de Beaune Villages
100% Pinot Noir
This appellation of controlled origin dates back to 1937. Fourteen villages from the Côte de Beaune make up this “Côte de Beaune-Villages” appellation: Auxey-Duresses, Chassagne-Montrachet, Chorey-les-Beaune, Savigny-les-Beaune, Meursault, Monthelie, Pernand-Vergelesses, Puligny-Montrachet, Saint Aubin, Saint-Romain, Santenay, Ladoix-Serrigny, les Maranges and Remigny. However, four villages are not included: Aloxe-Corton, Beaune, Pommard and Volnay.
Beautiful shiny dark ruby color. Discreet nose that reveals aromatic notes of blackcurrant blossoms and narcissus after aeration. The subtle palate is fine and concentrated at the same time. An atypical Beaune, this wine is concentrated and fluid.
